WHAT TAKES PLACE DURING THE WEDNESDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY?
From 6:30-7:30 p.m. various leaders in our community lead this Bible Study through gospel-centered, expositional studies of the Bible. Our teachers teaches the timeless truths of the Bible with clarity, humor, and real-life application. Everyone is invited to come to the fellowship hall and join us as we learn from God’s Word, sing hymns, and pray for the needs of others.
WHAT IS BEING TAUGHT DURING THE WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY?
Our current series is entitled, The Kings and I. This series examines chapters 1-22 of 1 Kings. Free study guides are provided for note takers.
DOES FRIENDLY AVENUE OFFER A WEDNESDAY NIGHT DINNER BEFORE BIBLE STUDY?
Yes. Before the Bible study, we gather for Wednesday Night Dinner (5:30-6:30 p.m.) in the Fellowship Hall. The cost is $6.00 per person or $15 per family. If you’re a guest at Friendly Avenue, we would like to invite you for a free meal with our Pastor, Dr. Pat Cronin, before the Wednesday Night Bible Study. Contact Dr. Doris Henderson (336-292-3567, ext. 312) to make your reservation. (Reservations and/or Cancellations must be made by Tuesday at noon.)
WHAT ABOUT MY INFANT(S) AND CHILD(REN)?
You are welcome to bring your infant into Bible Study. However, if you would like to utilize our infant environment,
childcare is provided for Birth-Age 2 in our supervised nursery of skilled and loving caregivers. Preschoolers are invited to participate in Mission Friends. We encourage elementary students to join Bible Drill. Middle and high school students assemble during the Bible Study for Mission to Serve Greensboro (MSG), a coordinated effort to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ to our community.
