Guests / What to Expect

We believe we can be an encouragement to you and your entire family no matter where you find yourself in life's journey. If you are looking for a church family, join us for one of our dynamic worship services and/or Bible studies. We look forward to meeting you.

When you arrive on campus...

...You can enter through the double doors in the west wing (Jefferson Road entrance) or the double doors on the north side of the Ministry Center (Westridge Road entrance).  Once inside, you will be welcomed by our greeters. They will also answer any questions you have and can help direct you to our Sunday School classes and/or worship services.

If you have a baby...

...You are welcome to bring your infant into the Worship Center and/or Multi-Purpose Room for worship. However, if you would like to utilize our infant environment, we encourage you to take advantage of our supervised childcare with skilled and loving caregivers, who have successfully passed a criminal background check.

As you enter the Worship Center or Multi-Purpose Room...

...You will be greeted by ushers who will give you a bulletin which contains important news about the church, a Connect Card, and an order of worship. Our ushers are available to assist you should you have any questions or special needs.

As our guest...

...We welcome you to fill out a Connect Card found inside your bulletin. Return your card as the offering plate is being passed around as your gift to us. As a first-time guest to FABC, we want to show you our appreciation for visiting. Please consider attending our Guest Reception following the 10:45 services in room MC-104 in the Ministry Center. There you can connect with our pastors and other church leaders so that we may better serve you. Ushers and other volunteers can help you find your way there.

Our worship services...

...Offer three opportunities for you to worship. At 8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. in the Worship Center we meet for traditional worship, which includes relevant life messages and a blend of hymns and contemporary praise songs that express our love and commitment to Jesus Christ. Friendly Avenue’s Worship Choir and Orchestra provide powerful, Spirit-filled leadership in the 10:45 worship hour in the Worship Center. Also at 10:45 a.m. we host a contemporary, band-driven service in the Multi-Purpose Room of our Ministry Center, led out by Chris White and the various Praise Bands. In all three services, you can expect to hear relevant, faithful messages from the Bible, God’s Word, and uplifting music that will encourage you in your faith.
