FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

HOW DO I GET TO FRIENDLY AVENUE BAPTIST’S CAMPUS?

You can find directions and a map to Friendly Avenue’s campus by clicking here.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Allow fifteen to twenty minutes, especially if you are checking in children. Each of our Sunday morning services run about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

At Friendly Avenue, we encourage you to come as you are. In case you are wondering, most people who attend our 8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. services wear business-casual attire. Those who frequent the 9:15 a.m. service usually wear more casual clothing. Allow simple modesty to serve as your guide when considering what kind of attire you choose to wear.

WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?

Child care is provided for Birth-Age 4 at Friendly Avenue on Sundays and Wednesday evenings, enabling parents to attend a worship service and/or Bible study. If you attend a 9:30 a.m. Sunday School class, we provide "The Adventure Zone" for children (Grades Kindergarten-5) during that time for your child(ren). "The Adventure Zone" teaches the Bible through a variety of rotation zones, including: drama, music, arts and crafts, computer games, Bible trivia, and the media arts. We offer a safe and secure environment with teachers and workers who have been trained and successfully passed a criminal background check.

WHAT IS THE PASTOR’S SERMON STYLE?

Dr. Pat Cronin is a seasoned pastor and communicator of God's Word. Having served as the pastor of Friendly Avenue since May of 1995, Pastor Pat teaches the timeless truths of the Bible with clarity, humor and real-life application. His messages are biblical and relevant to today's changing culture.

WHEN ARE THE SERVICE TIMES?

Our weekly schedule can be found online. Gathering together for a time of worshipping God is the highlight of the week at Friendly Avenue. If you are new to the Triad area, traveling, or seeking a church home, we encourage you to be our guest. Join us for one of our Sunday morning services at 8:15 a.m., 9:15 a.m., or 10:45 a.m. Our Sunday School Growth Groups meet at 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
