MINISTRIES

The ministries of our community are just one of the many ways we strive to bring all people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Friendly Avenue Baptist Church encourages both members and prospective members to participate in ministries to serve others.  A member’s primary commitment should be in the area where he or she is gifted, but a secondary commitment should include serving in any other area where there is a need.  There are places for each person to serve, regardless of how different their spiritual gifts, heart (passion), abilities, personality, and experiences may be.  Check out our ministries from the links below to see where you want to get involved. • CHILDREN'S MINISTRY - Bringing preschoolers through 5th graders into a growing realtionship with Jesus Christ.
• CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL - The Friendly Avenue Christian Preschool is a vital ministry to young families in our area.
• INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS - We are a church dedicated to the global expansion of God's kingdom.
• KAREN CHURCH - A church plant that reaches out to refugees coming from Burma (Myanmar) and Thailand.
• MEN'S MINISTRY - The Men (or Brothehood) of FABC strives to be all God intends them to be.
• MUSIC & WORSHIP - Music plays a large role in our worship of Christ. Learn more here.
• OUTREACH - These ministries reach beyond our walls to spread the gospel into our surrounding community.
• PRAYER MINISTRY - We believe in prayer. Our prayer ministry keeps us connected with the needs of our church.
• SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY - The "Diamond Set" plays a large and active role in the ministries of our church.
• STUDENT MINISTRY - This ministry seeks to shape and influence students into becoming mature followers of Christ.
• WOMEN'S MISSIONARY UNION - Our women's ministry that works together to change the world for Jesus.
